Official Look at the Adidas ZX4000 4D

Adidas is continuing to change the game with their 4D silhouettes. Photos for the new ZX4000 4D show that the Futurecraft family is taking the next step. The sneaker is basically an update of the Adidas ‘90s ZX 4000 runner. The main changes can be seen in the new materials being used on the upper and a 4D outsole.

This beautiful shoe has a semi-woven upper that resembles the design of the ash green 4D printed sole. One unique feature of this sneaker is the plush suede mudguard patch. The patch has stitching that resembles the seams of a baseball and is attached to the knit toe unit. In fact, the entire shoe has a deconstructed feel with multiple areas featuring exposed stitching and patchwork. This sneaker has a varied color scheme with hints of bright pink, muted yellow and mint contrasting against more neutral colors like black, cream and white. This combination along with the 4D technology really cements a futuristic look. The ZX4000 4D is expected to hit stores and online retailers sometime in November. It will retail for $350. Pictures have also been released for an additional colorway for the shoe. That sneaker utilizes more pinks and greys and will be released simultaneously with the original.
