Air Jordan I Hi OG NRG Takes Colorway Inspiration From Pro BMX Rider Nigel Sylvester
Professional BMX rider Nigel Sylvester is one of the icons in sport and street culture. Nike has found a few ways to partner with him, including his appearances in their recent Sports Pack campaign.

Sylvester now has his own Air Jordan sneaker coming as well. The Air Jordan 1 HI OG NGR is his favorite shoe and this custom colorway does not cut corners when it comes to perfectly capturing his style.

The sneaker is his go-to for riding and has distressed marks that look like they were created by Sylvester while he practices his tricks. These neutral-tone kicks feature discolored Sail, white, Varsity Red and Muslin tones.

The medial Swoosh is constructed from a reflective material that makes it flash during night rides. The lateral toe box features a mini Swoosh and a deconstructed lateral Swoosh and Wings logos.

One of the coolest elements of the shoe is shown on the inner collar, with the writing “Jordan Biking Co., Est. 2017.” The heel and toe also have scuff marks that mirror the abrasions found on Nigel’s AJ1s. This sneaker will be available via select retailers late next month. No information about the price point has been released.
