There have been too many colorways made of the Air Jordan 1 to name. Now, one of the most popular sneakers of all-time is getting some entirely new touches.
The shoe that features one of the cleanest constructions in industry history will now have a translucent icy blue sole. The upper’s red leather has been altered as well, with what appears to be a reptile print.
One other subtle change can be seen on the tongue tag, which switches from its usual red/white color scheme to a blue/red look. Some AJ1 purists may not like these modifications, but Jordan enthusiasts will appreciate seeing a new silhouette after the last one was released in 2015.
The value of AJ1’s has exploded during the hiatus, ensuring that this latest edition is a good investment. While there is no official release date set, a holiday season drop is expected.
