Adidas Collabs With Hit Show Game of Thrones for Ultraboost Release

Next year’s final season of Game of Thrones is sure to attract plenty of fanfare. One of the newest rumors is that a series of Adidas shoes will be released that pay homage to the HBO show. This cross into pop culture is certainly something that is not new for Adidas. This fall, they have an eight-shoe series dropping that is inspired by the long-running Dragon Ball Z franchise. The early look we have of these GOT kicks is various colorways of the Adidas Ultra Boost. Each of them carries a unique phrase that is associated with the series on the back tag. While it should be stressed that the leaked images are just renderings, the shoes revealed rep House Stark, House Lannister, the White Walkers and Night’s Watch. The corresponding tags on each read “Winter is Coming,” “Hear Me Roar,” “Winter is Here” and “Nights Watch.”

The Stark colorway features a grey mesh upper and black accents on the heel, toe and Three Stripes logo. It has a look that harkens to the frigid climate of the Northern Westeros.

The Lannister colorway truly pops, with a deep red upper that has the same speckling shown on the others. This shoe also has a white sole, a black heel and gold accents.

The white knit upper and translucent icy blue overlays is exactly what one would picture a White Walkers sneaker to look like. This shoe truly depicts the snowy tundra north of the wall

The final Night’s Watch colorway has an all-black upper with white guards and a Boost sole. The look resembles boots stomping through the snow.

There is no release information for these shoes yet, but expect them to hit the market whenever the show actually premiers in 2019.
